  17. There's probably a pin on the 53C710 SCSI controller chip that's just 
  18. made for this.  Which one, and how to easily connect to one of those tiny 
  19. pins, I don't know...

  21. Most people just end up connecting the hard drive LED directly to the 
  22. hard drive.  For me, this had the added bonus of the LED not flashing 
  23. every few seconds when AmiCDROM polls the CD-ROM drive; it only flashes 
  24. when the hard drive is accessed.

  26. If you had several internal devices, and really want to see accesses to 
  27. them, it wouldn't be too hard to use a TTL Or gate to hook them all into 
  28. the same LED.
